• What happens after I complete step one and step two:
REMEMBER YOU NEED A VAILD ADDRESS to receive boxes of used child apparel, toy and books. (P.O. BOXES will not accept large packages but your shipping provider will leave a post card in your P.O. Box regarding picking up your box at their location. You will need to check you P.O. Box daily at time of delivery.)
You can expect an email contact database from Swaphandmedowns.com regarding your request and a family email address contact to accept or mail out free child apparel C.O.D. We will provide to you more information at that time.

• What Are the Requirements to Join The Swap Membership
EVERY ADULT in the membership program must agree to swap only Gently Used children's clothing. (All kids like to go to school dress nice but keep in mind - what you think are not suitable for another child to wear possibly really may be after all.) Clothing that is not torn or faded can still be recycled. Please ship clothing to your contact the way you would like to receive it. Only the one receiving the swapped child apparel box pays the Shipping Cost. (You will be sending one box out and you will be receiving a box. Or more - it's up to you.) You can decide with your contact on how you want accept the shipping fees to receive your free gently used childrens apparel. Such as: Accept Cash on Delivery or what ever you decide among each other. There is to be NO FEE CHARGES for the used child clothing swapped among members.

• Since I will be accepting good wearable child apparel from another family C.O.D. will the shipping charge be high.
How much is the shipping cost - Tried and Proven cost example: A box of used child apparel was shipped out of New Jersey (weighing 15 pounds) to a family in Metaire, La. and the actual shipping cost was twelve dollars and forty six cents - which comes to less that a dollar a pound and cheaper than the price of lunch meat. The fee for the cost of sending it C.O.D was six dollars. The total price was eighteen dollars and forty-six cents. (You might wish to discuss pre-paying the shipping cost with each other. That will you save six dollars.)

Shipping charges shipped the cheapest way possible is advised among each other. We recommend you ask your family contact about how many lbs. of child apparel are you going to ship to me. You can then check with your preferred shipper about the estimate cost to accept C.O.D. You will be surprized how cheap it really is. You can ship a lot of child apparel C.O.D. for less than the cost of a brand new pair of jeans.

• How should I pack the box and what do I do next...
Make sure the clothing is washed and dried before packing the box.

• What if a family ships me child apparel that is not wearable.

Anyone abusing our program will be disqualifed immediately from our program.
Please Note: For the record: It is very unlikely a family will abuse our program since they agree to mail out good child clothing and it has not happened yet.
AFTER ALL THIS PROGRAM IS FOR OUR CHILDREN and a way to for all of us to save money and recycle.
It is advised to mail out child apparel the way you would like to receive it. All members have agreed to ship gently used child apparel or new child apparel to other families.

Thanks so so much you are an angel. My son will be happy. I am going to let him come home from school on Friday and see his new clothes. I know it is used but to a child that does not have used is like new. Please tell your member that she is making a 7 year old child real happy. He is real cute he has dirty blond hair, brown cuban eyes and pale - fair skin.
